SKILLS & KNOWLEDGES
 

-Effective communication throughout team members, departments/production

 

-Create body and facial animation for human characters, along with animation for creatures, vehicles, props, and other assets to be integrated into in-game engines and/or cinematic sequences
 

-Hands-on knowledge of animation, both aesthetically and technically in specific style according to the direction of the client and project

-Iterate and update animation assets from time to time for the need of production with long term solution as foundation, flexible to edit animation to require changes

 

-Understanding Unreal Engine animation retarget manager, animation sequencer

 

-Animate gameplay locomotion animation set in a consistent look and feel

-Understanding root motion, aim offset, in engine additive layer that apply to character's limb, upper and lower body

-Attention to file organization, naming structure for assets in 3D production and Engine

-Ability to gather, analyze, and act on feedback from the team, openness to critique

 

-Understanding of animation production pipelines for character animation, keyframe, mocap animation, and technical animation

 

-Full game production knowledge from concept to final product

 

-Able to troubleshoot and rectify asset implementation issues in game engine and 3D software

 

-Basic skill in 3D modeling, rigging, texture and drawing

 

-Collaborate with the programmer, technical art and engineering team to help establish, implement,  iterate, and refine the animation system, tools, pipeline and systems requirements

 

-Asset budget and scheduling in production

 

-Asist less experience members in the animation team in maintaining the required level of productivity
